Janet Aronica

Once upon a time…

…there was a brown-eyed princess named Janet born in a magical land called Buffalo. Raised on a steady diet of Loganberry and Chiavetta’s BBQ, the daughter of Sir Robert of Ad Sales and Lady Jane of Nursing fancied a variety of activities as a child. Such pleasures included: gymnastics, swimming, and writing. The latter led Miss Janet to newspaper nerd-dom during her high school years, formulating a passion for journalism that spearheaded her dream of studying at the SI Newhouse School of Public Communication at the kingdom of Syracuse University.

Rejected by Sir Newhouse, the bitter princess felt lost in this fairyterror. Nevertheless, she relentlessly pursued her goal of finding the right school, the right major, the right career.

She kissed a few frogs along the way. She went from Kent State to Nazareth College, from newspaper journalism to political science to pre-law – hoping to create her happily ever after. Janet finally found her Prince Charming in St. John Fisher College and public relations. She pursued her new-found love with spirit and enthusiasm through internships at The Humane Society, Eric Mower and Associates and Toshiba Business Solutions.

These days (when she’s not polishing her tiara) Janet can be found running, drinking coffee, eating her veggies, blogging and laughing with her best girl friends. Janet is 22 years young and uses this space to share her experiences in social media and public relations.  Janet also writes an entry level careers column for Examiner.com.  She lives in Boston and works for Kel and Partners.  Although Janet’s boss would probably think this blog is pretty cool, it does not necessarily reflect the views of Queen Kel or the rest of the K&P kingdom.

And she lives…happily ever after.

The End Beginning.

The sequel: a brief synopsis from “Sir Robert,”:

Upon her way to the magic kingdom (Princess Janet believes that is Boston. No dummy, Boston, Mass), Princess Janet learned a lot and spread good cheer to every one she met. While Sir Robert and Lady Jane believe smaller kingdoms should be traveled first, Princess Janet believes she should be crowned Queen immediately. Being the proud and supportive parents, Sir Robert and Lady Jane along with Prince Jason (a mighty fine protector and wise man) wish her well and all our love. We also hope she keeps the key to the kingdom around her neck so that she doesn’t lose it. This story is not the “end,” it is only the beginning and we hope Prince Charming finds the sweet princess as they make their magic kingdom wherever they are.
